Guy Guppy, BSc. (Hons), MSc.
With 17 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, including endurance athletes, team sports players, and military personnel. Currently, I hold a dual role as a researcher and lecturer in Performance Nutrition at Kingston University London.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, followed by a Master's degree that deepened my understanding of human performance. Further, I completed a postgraduate diploma in Performance Nutrition, refining my practical skills in crafting tailored nutrition plans and effectively communicating strategies to clients.
My commitment to advancing performance nutrition is exemplified through my ongoing pursuit of a PhD in ketogenic diets and carbohydrate supplementation in endurance athletes. This research not only deepens my knowledge but also enables me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing evidence-based strategies to optimize performance.
In addition to academia, my extensive experience working with athletes and military personnel has given me a profound understanding of their unique needs. I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of experts in performance nutrition and contributing to the field's evolution, all while empowering individuals to unlock their full potential through nutrition.
